OrthoPediatrics to Acquire Pega Medical


OrthoPediatrics, a $98m producer of implants and devices that treat orthopedic conditions in children, is acquiring Canada-based Pega Medical, a developer of implant systems that treat bony deformities in children with osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease), for $33m.  The acquisition adds to OrthoPediatrics’ range of technologies addressing unique conditions in pediatric orthopedics.  Orthopediatrics acquired MD Orthopaedics, a producer of specialty bracing product lines for $19.6m in April 2022.
